Mohenjo-daro was built around 2500 BC. In Sindhi language it literally means "Mound of the Dead".

The pink area is the area in which we find the remains of Mohenjo-daro. Most of this area is now in Pakistan. In India it is in Punjab and Gujarat regions
There are around 1,500 sites of the Indus Valley Civilization and no sign of warfare or weapons have been found. This implies that the Indus natives were peaceful in nature, which might have made it vulnerable to foreign invaders.
